Hello, I'm Anxiety.
I can feel overwhelming—racing thoughts, constant worry, and physical tension that make it hard to focus or enjoy life. At Heartwood Counseling and Wellness, we help you understand the roots of your anxiety and develop practical tools to manage it. Through compassionate support and evidence-based strategies, our therapists guide you toward greater calm, confidence, and balance.

Our team is highly trained in treating generalized anxiety and its many forms. Each of our therapists specializes in helping clients manage the wide range of symptoms that anxiety can bring—whether it shows up as panic attacks, racing thoughts, emotional overwhelm, or physical tension. We tailor our approach to meet your specific needs, combining evidence-based strategies with compassionate support to help you regain a sense of calm and control.
To make sessions even more comforting, our therapy dog, Remmi, is available to provide warmth and grounding. Many clients find that Remmi’s presence helps ease nervousness, reduce overwhelm, and create a calming environment for deeper healing.

Taylor is a master’s-level student therapist who specializes in general anxiety, including overthinking, constant worry, and a nervous system that never quite gets the memo to relax. Her style is warm, collaborative, and refreshingly down-to-earth, helping clients better understand their anxiety while building tools to feel calmer and more in control. Taylor believes therapy can be meaningful and human—no pressure to have it all figured out.
